Default No Start Hummer

2006 Hummer H3 with the in-line 5

Hello all, I am in need of some help, I am visiting my mom in Colorado and she owns a hummer. It is not starting. I’ve been working on it for 10 days now. I’ve replaced the two cam sensors, crank shaft sensor, fuel pump relay, pressure tested the fuel pump 55-57 psi, removed the viper alarm system out of it, and replaced the ignition switch and had it flashed at the dealership, still no start. Cranks but doesn’t start. It did start for me a couple times but would never repeat starting again. I am at a loss on what else it could be and I don’t want to leave here without her having a car? Any suggestions on what it could be?

Welcome to HF.

Did you scan for any codes before throwing parts at it?

Post codes and we will try to help.

Thank you for the reply, When I first started on it it was throwing cam shaft sensor codes, replaced them and the codes cleared. It’s not throwing any codes now

you probably need to check your underhood fusebox for corrosion. might also want to check all the main body grounding points.

That’s a great idea, I didn’t even think of that, thank you!

I would not have a dealership program anything, ever. Crap shoot to be sure.

Check the wiring to the coil packs for the any Viper jumper kill circuit.
