No power to fuel pump -help
You can remove the fuse panel from the box and disconnect the two wire harness connectors to inspect the pins and look for corrosion. The trick to reconnecting the harnesses to the bottom of the fuse panel is to snap them in place BEFORE you try to snap down the panel into the box.
If he wasn't getting a good ground at the frame, I don't think the pump would cycle when he sends 12v + directly to it.
After changing the fuel pump and still having only 12v on one side I tracked back to the computer on the passenger firewall. It was not sending 12v to the pump. I went inside the car on the passenger side and pulled the kickboard off and there was a control box and harness there. When I moved the harness the ignition make a noise. After this I tried the fuel pump and the car ran. Since then I had issues one time and again checked the harness which has a broken clip and the car ran again. I have since bag tied the harness together, no issues.
I think I was looking in that area taking a break and decided to fix the leaky sunroof.
