Are we talking about the plastic insert in the grill that covers the area where you want to install the light bar? If so, I didn't remove the bumber, just popped it off.

How did you remove the plastic vent without dropping the bumper?

Okay. I tried that but guess I didn't push hard enough on it for fear of breaking something but I will try again. Thanks for your quick reply!

There are currently 7 in grill off road light kits for sale on eBay right now. They are easy to install and work well. They are kit # 19132765.

yeah, get rid of the plastic. it will come out with effort thru the front, without breaking up. i did mine and you will find some mounting studs/bolts already waiting there!

On my 2007 Hummer there is a plastic shroud that goes from the bottom of the lower vent and down towards the radiator and skid plate. Does that have to be removed or can it just be pushed out on the way while looking for the mounting holes for the light bar? My light bar is the 30" curved style.

Thank you in advance!

The 30 inch will fit but it's tight. With the kit I have it came with a metal bracket for each end. There is supposed to be a could of holes where the will mount to. Time will tell.

Did you mount one in yours? Does yours have that plastic shroud I asked about?
