Nah, keep it going, someday your thread will be an H3 repair manual.

Well, that's a great suggestion. Has to be hard cover. Proof read by the people who know. As I have no idea what I'm doing. If not for all the help here, H3 would be in junk yard or an accidental fire. ( fire, they do happen you know ). Now, experts go over to Craigslist Chicago, Cars, Trucks, All. Hummer. There on the top page is a H3T, black in color. Did it come from the factory like that? Never saw one like that. Now I must start on the repair manual, maybe after happy hour.

On to next project. My H3 came with 2 top front yellow plastic lenses on the corners. Turned lights on, they did not come on. Took off the yellow lenses and there was no bulb, socket are wiring anywhere. So being the genius repair guy, I ran a black and red wire to both, Added a socket and bayonet bulb. Now have light. This was done just after I purchased H3. Know I am going to add 3 in middle front and 3 in the rear top. The one's I see on ebay and at several auto stores require a rather large hole to be drilled. Not going to do that. A small hole for wire is ok, I can seal it. Would like to find one's that stick on. Help here is needed, as all my other repairs. I'll tell folks I figured it out myself. That's where the genius part comes in.

That is a great patch. I will award myself with one. Take a pic of it and glue it on. Any info needed on a H3, just ask. If I don't know the answer, I'll make something up. After all I'm a certified utube mechanic!

Sadly, there are many techs getting paid to do that. I've had to let numerous go over the years, due to their ineptitude! Throwing parts at it, is not happening on my watch!

I Perform Diagnostics With Flow Charts/Data!

Btw, I saved myself A LOT OF MONEY, over the last 40+years, diagnosing my way!

Nah it's Liberty, Liberty, Liberty. Shopping for top lights. So far no joy. I'll end up jury rigging something. After all I am utube certified..
