Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I have front and rear lockers. It is Solar Flare color. I do like the Cashmere interior, Wife don't. Southern truck, no rust at all.136,000 miles on it. I paid $8,000 for it and $600.00 to ship to me from AL. to IL. Suburb of Chicago. Soon as I solve my TPMS problem. I'll be good to go. Going to do a mpg test soon on big road. I get 14 mpg around local.
2008s did not have front lockers. I'd bet you do not have a rear locker either, they made a gazillion solar flare 08 Alphas, very very few Off Roads. Post up a pick of the dash board T Case Controls.
Good to hear you bought cheap with problems to fix, like you said, you should be good to go.
Below is a pick that shows what I mean, it refers to Adventure Package.... which is what makes the Alpha with Adventure Package an Alpha Off Road.
Ok, no lockers on mine. I was looking at the buttons on left that have a up and down buttons with a lock symbol on them. I have no intentions of going off road, so fine by me.
I like the spare tire cover. Mine is hard plastic on back. Saving up my money for the Solar Flare full metal one. That's why I like the H2. Metal cover and swings out . Don't get better than that. Remember, one man's treasure is another man's junk and vice versa. Also no H3 or H2 should be without step rails, nerf bars, nurse bars are whatever else they are called . Puts a lot of class to them. Also I'm only 6 ft. tall so helps me getting in. Washing off the top. See all the great advantage's of the step rails? I'm going to try and pass a law that all Hummers have them. You don't have them,? Hurry and buy them before the law goes into effect. Then prices will go up.
That proposed law would only apply to Street Queens. As soon as you actually use a Hummer for what it was designed for... off road... your Nurse Bars would get mutilated, I've seen then get so bent up you cannot open a door on one side. At the AM General Off Road Course (invite only) they make you remove them before you are allowed to leave the parking lot. That is if you actually are clueless enough to show up with a set in place.
As long as I own it, it will be a street queen. In the ditch is not my thing. The wonderful step rails are good to deflect bullets shot low on our freeways here in the Peoples Republic of Ill. Drive anywhere near Chicago at your risks! Ok enough of joking around.
Anyone here know how to un-lock a radio with no code? I ask before, no reply. No way to do it?
Well. My eyes glassed over. No way can I do as the video shows. Don't have the equipment. When I get time I'll post what happened to the radio that came with the H3. Sort of a long story
