the oil pressure sensor on a v8 usually lives almost under the rear of the intake on the top of the valley of the block behind the valve cover on the drivers side close to the firewall. can be hard to see.

In order to avoid false TPMS your tires should all be inflated to 38 PSI cold.

When I purchased new tires, they installed new TPMS and they were programed to the H3. Tires were inflated to 45 psi. You say they should be 38 psi ?

4 out of 5 Dentists suggest way overinflating your tires to 45PSI so your fillings will fall out caused by chattering teeth from the poor ride.

I typed 38 PSI Cold on purpose.

Ok got it. Going to take it back to tire dealer tomorrow . 38 PSI it is. Installed a new oil pressure sensor today. Going to end the damn oil leaks if I have to weld the engine shut!
If all goes well on the tire TPMS , I well post in CAPITAL With both arms in air like I won all the Olympic games. lol

No joy. Tire dealer checked all 4 TPMS and all are good. Horn beeped 2 times etc. I watched all this. Light still on. I give up. Dealer stated something wrong with computer..
Went to another shop for a key fob. Will be installed this Friday. Just lock- unlock, don't need remote start as H3 is in heated garage in winter.
Next thing is the tire light on all the time. Key fob guy said he can take out bulb, take care of the light on. DIC comes on, one tap on the button and gone until next start. Any opinions?

Time for the crazy question segment..... Does your spare have a TPMS? At the "tire dealer" shall we assume he/her only programmed the 4 on the ground?

I mention this because when I had new ACDelco TPMS installed and programmed at Discount Tire I watched in disbelief as the tire kids tried twice to program in the spare with the 4 on the ground and wonder why they could not make it work. I had to go out into the shop and tell them do NOT attempt to program the spare as an H3 can only monitor 4 tires at any one time so that when they programed the spare after the 4 on the ground, they added it to the loop bumping the first tire on the ground out of being monitored and created their own issue. Soon as they skipped the spare, worked perfect ever since.

Good luck.
