Ok all done with key fob antenna. Friday will tell if after market key fob will work.. I've being trying to locate a thread on mpg for a H3 Alpha. Just to see what most folks get. Last time I checked, mine gets 14 mpg local. Not been on big road to get a number.. I'm so bad with computers, Didn't have any when I grew up in 1492. Still trying to learn.

 

Did you drive it to check tpms signal?

 

I've logged every fill up since buying my '08 Alpha new 13 years ago. Best ever: 14.53, Worse ever: 9.60. I have 305-70 16 tires (added rolling resistance) and a light bar (added wind resistance), I've never added all fill ups to determine an actual overall average but I would say 10.5 - 11 MPG would be close. I know, lousy mileage, but I don't care, I love it, wouldn't trade it, and I can live with it.

 

I've kept track of every tank on my '08 Alpha since purchase (6 years ago); Consistently get 15mpg. Gotten as high as 16, and as low as 14, but those numbers were actually rare. I can pretty much predict when my "low fuel" warning comes on; right at 300 miles (give or take 5), and I have 3 gallons left in the tank at that time. 285-75 16 tires, single row light bar mounted slightly low (top even with roofline), and 2 roof rack crossbars.

 

Took a drive, no change. in tpms. I give up.

 

 

Btw, you have an easy fix. I need to chop down 60+yr old trees to fix my issue. My tv reception cuts in and out when it's windy. Signals from the TV broadcast tower overlap chaotically behind the tree and this causes drop-outs on certain TV channels when the wind blows and moves the tree. The problem is usually confined to higher-frequency UHF digital-television channels.

 

Cable will take care of all that. Cost a arm and leg here. I don't watch much tv. Morning for weather and keep score of shootings in murder city USA. That's it for me a day, I really don't know about a easy fix for my tpms problem. Drive over to Cleveland and you can have a go at it? Don't drive H3 to city. Car jacking here is getting to become a national pass time. Probably set up leagues. North, south east and west. I'm betting on south. More and more get shot on the freeways every day. Never go to city any more. Gangs are in charge.
