Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
If I knew where my problem is I wouldn't be asking. The guy in the video just replaced the passlock sensor. When I remove the key from the ignition the car keeps beeping like the key is still in the ignition. All the accessories still work (wipers, radio, windows etc...) which drains the battery. When I search for parts I keep coming across this which is an ACDelco part.
I also ran across this once or twice.
This is all I can find related to the ignition. Something in the ignition tells the car the key is still in there and it's obviously sticking. So what do I need to replace and does someone have a video or instructions on how to do it? The video shown above is of no help since that has nothing to do with my problem. Thanks!
@Sean Gamble Posted some pgs from the repair manual...if any seem relevant and you need further lmk or you can download the manual from an old post a few wks ago.
EDIT: To add, what @hummerz is saying is like step 4, 5 and 6 from the manual pg diagnosis I posted so maybe give his post a read or two again will help sort it out.

1 MORE TIME, THE GUY IN THE VIDEO REPLACED THE <<<<<IGNITION SWITCH>>>>.
Btw, your symptoms don't add up with the key in the LOCK POSITION.
When in lock position, and open the door, ALL accessories turn off, and beeping occurs with key in the ignition.
The only way you can have accessories working and beeping with door open, is in the ACC position. Verify the cylinder is in the LOCK position.
The guy in the video...... did not know what he was replacing, and called it a sensor....... instead of ignition switch. It doesn't matter what "the guy in the video" called the part he was replacing, the Galactic Space Modulator, Inner Flux Capacitor, .... it is still the Ignition Switch, a 2 screw and do ........job.
I have replaced the ignition switch but still nothing.. my fuse number 33 keeps blowing everytime I try and start it. Any ideas on how to bypass the anti theft system. All the blown fuses
