Default Hummer H3 heat problem

I have a 2007 H3. The temperature control for the hot isn’t working properly. If I have it all the way hot, it heats up. But then if you turn it down to cool off some then turn it back to hot it won’t heat up again. Have replaced everything we can think of. Any one else heard of this happening?

Welcome to HF. I MOVED this for you from the New Member Section which (as it says) is strictly for introductions. Tech questions go in the vehicle sections and that is where your question is now.

Yes, there was an HVAC recall by GM, look to see if you Vin # shows it was done. Search here for the resistor fix as well.

Check for a rodent infestation preventing the climate control blend door from operating properly.
