I'm running it again on Monday night to get a baseline again. It will be all new fluids and 100% stock except for the 315 tires. Then a week or two later will be installing the magnaflow exhaust and cold air intake. At that time we will also test a port and polished TB, high flow air sensor, cold plugs and high rate injectors. Will also be swapping out filters, and taking video to document which air filter works best.

Ran it again last night, I took some video but it was just another baseline so I'll just put it in the final video. The difference last night from before was I had 35" tires on it where I had stock tires before. I lost 128hp average across the entire band starting around 1000RPM's. We did find that the curve planed off a lot at around 3000 RPM. It was the converter locking up. So we forced it to lock up very early and we got 10 more HP across the entire band. It's sorta pointless for what we are doing because if we would had locked it up early on the first baseline pull it would had been 10 more too.

So the starting number will be 165HP and 172TQ @6000RPM. I will also be documenting the >2000RPM improvements. That's where I'm looking for power gains more than the top end. In the next few weeks I'll be testing more.

I feel a little silly asking, but this is a reference I have seen in some other threads but do not fully understand what it means. Does that statment mean that you're getting into the throttle alot more to get it into the cruising range quicker?

It means you use less peddle to get it going. Think of it like a manual.
