the gates elbow says .75" but double check it when you get the old one off.

Yes,measure your hose should be 1/2"-5/8". Go to your local auto parts store, and they will measure your hoses and give you the proper clamps(#10-#12).

That's O.D. on 1/2" hose.

can I cut these off of the metal piping somehow? Perhaps side cutters?

I use a cutoff tool, yet you can use a sawzall or hacksaw.... just score it enough to pull the band clamp with your side cutters, peel it off. Don't worry about damaging the hose, but DO NOT CUT THE TUBE! Be patient and careful how deep you cut. When you get the new hose on, slide it as far as you can, then install the clamp in a flat spot (not on the flare) on the tube, then tighten secure, and pressure check the system before you refill or drive. GL

I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks a ton for yer info. We've been waiting 3 weeks now for our order from the stealership.

Diy, and save yourself $. I forgot to add, the flare in front of the band clamp is the tube. Cut and peel that band clamp without damaging the tube and your good to go. GL
