Default Headlight wiring issue

OK so I’ve come across a weird deal here. So I have LED light bars wired to the highbeams. They work fine with halogen bulbs in the housings. But any time I attempt to switch out the LEDs in the main housings the light bars will cease to function. I have tried multiple different LED headlight bulbs I have the same issue. Is there some thing I am missing here?

How is the light bar controlled exactly? High beam signal activates a standalone relay which then turns the light bar on?

I have it wired ground to the battery and positive from the highbeam positive in the pigtail. I even attempted to install a relay which did not solve the problem I tried to use the Highbeam in the pigtail as a switch unit and for some reason still couldn’t get it to work like I said it works fine with halogen bulbs in the housings but every time I put LEDs in the housing the light bar will no longer fire up when connected to the same wiring.

Do yourself a favor and wire it differently.
Run a line from battery to a switch in the cabin and back out to the light bar and to ground.

X2 what he said. Which was the nice way of saying correct your half-azzed wiring.

In many states it is illegal to run a light bar on the road (day or night) so you have committed yourself to an untenable situation. To do what you are trying, you need a relay and I would not bother.
