Default LED headlights on Hummer H3

So after 3 years of dealing with HIDs, blown ballasts, unreliable bulbs, DRL problems, etc, I'm considering replacing the entire headlight housing with an LED housing. Has anyone used this version with any success?

Is it difficult to install? Do you need to custom fit brackets?

There is a guy on another forum who is also looking at these. To make them fit the the rectangular opening of the H3 headlights seems like allot of work.
One suggestion was to use them as stand alone light up front, mounted to some bracket.
I can't imagine that at $179.00 they are a quality product or very reliable.
I would hate to see you tear up your stock headlight housings only to find that they are no good

Beru, I think your link is dead. It did not work for me. Just thought I'd chime in. Apparently, there is a new Led bulb design called an LED ETI and is better than the LED CREE bulb. Direct replacement and no cutting wires just like the CREE bulb. Has anyone tried these yet? I would like to get a pair off of flea-bay, but I don't want to be the guinea pig.
