Default LED Headlights

I have a “new to me” 2007 H3X. Need some advice on headlight and fog light replacement. Would anyone recommend LED bulbs or total LED headlight housings? I’m leaning toward replacing everything but wondered what thoughts are out there. Thanks for your time.

I tried LED bulbs in my headlight housing and my experience was the good output ones dont last and malfunction quickly. Best bet is to retrofit an LED light housing.
I went with a 60W LED foglights (complete assembly) but never use them on road as they throw a very wide beam pattern and will blind other drivers.

If you decide to go with led bulbs, be sure to buy ones where the diode is in the same location as the filament would be in a halogen bulb. The bulbs with the best results are the ones designed to mimic the halogen bulbs, this allows them to use the OEM housing the way they were designed to throw light. If you go with the bulbs that are covered in leds, there will not be a concentrated hotspot and your throw will be all over the place, blinding oncoming traffic. It may be easiest to get some quality headlight bulbs and go with a lightbar in the lower grille.

I wanted LED's but after all the horror stories I've read with retrofits/ electrical issues, etc. I decided to just get very bright burning traditional halogens. I got a brand called ODX, Super White 4300K bulbs, for $50 at my local car audio shop (H13 is the size). They have a 2 year warranty, and I've had them on there so far for a year and a half without issue. They burn super white, look as close to LED as you can get with halogens (obviously not the same), but on the bright side you won't be blinding everyone in front of you!

My advice would be keep it simple, but I've seen some great looking retrofits from others.

Last week I put
these these
LED lights I bought on Amazon. They look good, the only issue I have is I have radio interference with them. I am looking into adding Ferrite coils to take care of the issue.
