Default Headlamps on!

2009 H3T Alpha/Adventure

I've checked to make sure the light sensor is not obstructed (it isn't) and the instrument cluster is not on during the day but the headlamps are on. Are they suppose to be on the DLR system/circuit? The previous owner installed LED's (I don't like them) I don't see how that would affect the circuit. I checked to see if he wired trigger relay coming off of the DLR circuit to run the LED's, but there's no outward signs of any wiring hacks going on.

I don't think my 2006 H3 ran the headlamps using the DLR circuit may have and I just never noticed.

In 2006 the DLRs were the parking/turn signal lamps. In 2007+ that was changed to the headlights.... always on unless you turn them off after starting and placing in drive.

the link tainter provided is the PDF.
i read some of your other posts you might have an issue on your can2 B-bus line (that one is usually your secondary network for interior things) not allowing proper communication with your BCM. on my H2 the XM satalite radio module was jamming up the network. i disconnected it and the issue went away. so it can be pretty much any module that interfaces with the BCM. a switch a mirror the radio and its components the amp and so forth. look for things that are not working and disconnect them and its associated modules.
