Hello!
so issue started with the radio would not turn off when the vehicle was off. It would just stay on and kill battery. Then the sunroof would pop open when shifting to park, then it would randomly open. Then the control and dash lights would flash, and finally truck won’t start. And there is a constant buzzing from the speakers. BCM has been replaced. What else can we try?

Figured I would put the solution in case anyone else has this issue- ended up the AXXESS wire harness for the stereo. It makes it so onstar and door chimes continue to operate. We unplugged it, did a little creative wiring, and back in business.

 

Where did you buy the AXXESS harness from? I also replaced my stereo that I picked up from Crutchfield with their wiring interface for door chimes and I am now having all kinds of electrical problems and my H3 Alpha will not start either. I can't even get the dome lights to come on correctly. Thanks.

 

We have had it for over 10 years. Look on Amazon, I saw them there, I believe. We just eliminated it. Only thing that happened is no door chimes and no onstar, I don’t care about either.

 

I am going to eliminate the one I installed this past Dec 2020. My truck is down until I kill the gremlin.
