Salvage title is based on repairs vs vehicle's book value. If your 3 book value is $8k and repair estimate is over then it's considered total loss salvage. Get estimates for repair UNDER BOOK VALUE submit to your insurance company and request a check and DIY.

they use percentages hummerz if the value is 8000 they are only willing to pay out maybe 30% for repairs of any damage, over that they probably will deem it a total loss and take the vehicle to auction. so they can recoup and not have any future liability ties that the vehicle my have from improper repairs needing reassessment and more payouts on there part.

Correct; when they deem it a total loss it has to be above the owner's insurance stated BBV, and the insurance companies get there money back+$ @auction. Just make sure the insurance claim is >>>>under book value!!!!!!, request a check, diy and pocket the rest. Save some profit for an insurance rate increase, unless you have Accident Forgiveness

eBay is the wild-wild west!
That Front Bumper Cover has removable wings/air curtains, and it doesn't say HUMMER on it. It looks like all the knock-offs are missing the name. That's a bummerz.

So, do I want Chinese parts from eBay or Amazon? Hmmm

Does anyone know the diff between Radiator Air Baffles 25786710 (3.7L?) and 25791893 (5.3L?). I didn't know there was anything different from the radiator forward for any H3.
