H3 2006 Cylinder 4 Misfire CEL but runs perfect
Parts were either original OEM or SMP which I use all of the time. I had a Prius with a misfire and it turned out to be the injectors. Since I wanted to inspect the valves I changed the injectors for cylinder 4 and 5 when I pulled the intake. Everything in the head looked good. What is happening makes no sense. Engine starts and idles perfect. On the I/M I am still waiting for the Cat O2 and Evap to clear. I ran a different code reader and it told me there was an abnormal ECM and TCCM. I reset both and I am running it to see what comes up next. When I bought this Hummer I was told it needed a tranny since it was stuck in first gear. It had a CEL which the seller said was due to the tranny and I did not have my reader with me. He cleared it before I picked it up. Later I learned it was for the misfire. I just want the Engine to be I/M ready and then I will deal with the tranny. For not the tranny is suck in first gear and there is no speedo.
Speedo and only 1st gear. Did you recently change the T Case Fluid and fill fluid in the speed sensor hole? If so, that is your stuck in 1st/no speedo problem. The speed sensor is not properly installed = too shallow or crooked, or a bad electrical connection to it.
