I have a 2006 H3 that has a CEL for cylinder 4 misfire but it runs perfect. No issue idling, no issue driving/performance. I cant pass emissions with the CEL. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

 

try switching the coil with another one of them and see if the code changes to that position.

Agreed, swap the location of #4 coil with any other and see if the misfire follows If it does, replace that coil pack. Also check the wiring to coil #4 for compromise.

 

Thank you for the response but I did all of the obvious things. I even changed the injector - nothing. Runs great but CEL for misfire

 

it is an 06 hopefully its not a bad valve seat then.

Try running a 20 Oz. bottle of techron complete sys clnr. in gas tank.

 

What are "the obvious things"? Did that including swapping the #4 coil pack with another? Tracing the #4 coil pack wiring for compromise?

 

I changed the coil packs and plugs. Pulled the intake and change 4 and 5 fuel injectors. The engine runs excellent. Speedo does not work and it is stuck in 1st gear. But for now I am just trying to get past the CEL.
When I pulled the intake the valve chambers and valves looked great.

 

"Pulled the intake and change 4 and 5 fuel injectors" Why half-azzed when your're in there? I'm still driving my '07 with OEM factory installed fuel injectors and I don't have a misfire! However, I have 5 new oem fuel injectors for backup if I need to go in.
