Default Engine Swap (L59?)

Searched through older threads, found some information but want to make sure I am making the right decisions.
The engine in my 06 H3 went out a few months ago and I have decided to get it swapped. I’m looking at an 5.3L L59 with decent miles. From what I understand this will be compatible with the current 4L60E transmission, but I will require new engine mounts, oil pan, and wiring harness as well? Don’t expect to get much for a dead vehicle and I don’t have much money to put into something new so just selling isn’t really an option.

Don't know much personally about V8 swapping. Wanted to say I like the H3 short bed!

Hopefully Justin finds this post and responds.
He has expansive knowledge on the V8 swap subject.

Is the paint texture on the hood dew or the paint? (Sorry - don't know anything about engine swaps.)

It’s kind of like a truck bed coating. Live on a gravel road so paint jobs never last long, went with something that doesn’t scratch easily.

Can you post a pic of the back to the cab? Also more trim is needed:

I want to see more photos of your truck too. I think it's pretty cool. I'm interested in how the bed to cab is made. Is it separated or a pass through?
