Driver seat stuck forward

Could be the screw has run out the end of the adjuster. I've seen, and had to repair this on other GM cars.
Try looking underneath, for the long threaded rod, and where it engages with a threaded plastic piece.
Also, you might watch for the rod spinning, while you push the button. Could be a fuse thing?

Will check that. Took the seat out and the fuse was out but not sure if trying to keep pushing the back button created that issue, we did notice when we kept pushing the button the lights slightly flickered?
