Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
She is in MI, been here a couple days...... pics as she arrived straight from the Land of Dixie, road grime and all.
IT took a while to find each other, I wanted Black, OffRoad and 2009. Found this Carbon Flash Metallic which is super close to Black with some fleck in it. I had to have it.
Has about every option except a back up camera. There is a smarf to the driver side bumper, the fog light and bumper filler are broken (but the outer bumper cover is perfect?). No matter, it will be sporting a BA Winch Bumper soon.
Check out those chrome nerf bars!!!!! YUCK. Those are gonna be off tomorrow in my garage time with this thing.
I'll post up a few more pics later, on the driveway with the 07 Doc-mobile.
Good morning! Enjoy the new Project! I recently picked up my H3T Alpha in Washington and drove it back to Missouri. I'm in the market for a set of chrome wheels. Will you by chance be replacing yours and interested in selling them?

I am leaning toward just swapping the 07 wheels with the 09 .... as my 07 wheels already have MTZs on them.
Unless Broken Halo wants to work something out. The 285 Duelers on the solid spoke 2009 wheels look almost new, tread is full.
I did swap the wheels and tires, 07's MTZs on Slotted 7s to the 09, Duelers on Solids to the 07... did a double rotation at the time of the swap.
Pulled the BA Bumper and winch of the 07, removed the Cadillac Deluxe 4 Horn set, cleaned up and repainted the 07 frame ends. Only broke one of the 4 bumper bolts, noting heat and a stud remover couldn't handle.
Remember the Brodie Brackets .... frame end reinforcements (from Ridge Demon). Well years ago he handed me a set and described how to put the weld to them. Glad I had them for the 09. While the BA Bumper was at the blaster for reconditioning, on the 09 they went, exactly as he described. Mig weld all the way round the front, long stitch along the backsides.
Prior owners put a ridiculous chrome hood louver on the 09. The recall treatment had that thing plastered on the hood like crazy. There was NO WAY that BS was staying on my 3. It came off in pieces after cutting my hand and leaking on the driveway .....
Re-coated my SMA hood handles with fresh Bed Armor, put the 07's spare Hood Lover on the 09, drilled through the Hood and through bolted the louver to the hood sealed the holes with Marine Life Calk. Will not fly off, but can be removed anytime by removing the 4 SS bolts. MUCH better.
More later......
