Yes!!! Yes!! I think I created some new to me cuss words when I did the 06 H3 lol! I felt like the dad in the Christmas Story... when he was in the basement and lil ol Ralphie was up stairs.

And yes I took off the guard and put the correct size arbor hole with 6" Outer diameter on the 4.5" angle grinder and let it eat straight thru the center of each arm in the pocket. And YES it is the biggest B!tCh. After that experience my GF purchased me a plasma cutter so if any future chit went down I'm locked and loaded.

Well I got it done. Went down to rona bout some different blades for to reciprictor saw, tride a thick steel blade, a bit better then I tried a $15 CAD dewalt elite carbide tip blade and sliced through the arm in minutes. I guess blades make a big difference. Steering seems straight.

I do have one issue though did anyone else get the error for ABS and stab traction error. , I did change the brake pads while I was at it.
I tried clearing with blue driver twice no luck, I know my dodge ram did the same but it went away after driving for a bit and pumping the brakes. Was thinking I might have to take off the batter cables and try reseting.

or is there a trick to clearing those codes ?

Naw! No codes. Sure you didn't forget a plug? Maybe one hub was failing? Less of course you replaced em. Then one might be faulty.

Get a quality bi-directional scanner

Did you secure the steering wheel with the GM PIN or a bungee cord prior to removing the tie rods.
If not, the wheel may have turned and steering angle/position sensor may need to be reprogrammed or replaced.

You need to scan the ABS codes and report them back to us.

I took the one tie rod off passenger side and did not secure the wheel, never even thought of that. All the howbto videos I watched, I hadn't seen that truck, I'll scan the codes today.

Error C0040
right front tire and thats the one i worked to change out CV and and ball joints, they line looks ok, dont think i cut it or frayed it.
Just trade one problem for another.

Is it hardbto remove and swap in a new one ? I see then for $25 online or can I remove and try reattached it ?
