Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I recently bought my 2nd H3 back in June and according to maintenance records, the coolant was last changed a couple years ago. It appears to have Dexcool in it currently. I want to flush and refill before winter and was wondering if there are other (possibly better) coolant options to put back in it. It's a 2006 Adventure with a 5 speed. Thanks
Dex-Cool is what is called for, but my buddy that owns Superior Radiator says the Yellow stuff is less corrosive to Aluminum Radiators and they recommend that instead for all of their custom Radiators. If you make that change you have to flush out the Dex-Cool and then go 50-50 with the Yellow.
I have Dex-Cool in mine with the stock radiator, but went Yellow in my old 07 with the CFS Aluminum Radiator.
