Default Blower Motor not working

Hello! I have a H3 with an I5 and I have had constant issues with my HVAC/blower.

My HVAC started having problems around 2 1/2 years ago and it has been on and off since. I have replaced my HVAC control module, HVAC wiring harness, and blower motor/resister multiple times. I have taken it to a shop before hand and the issue stopped for them. However after taking my car in for a different issue I asked them to address the HVAC problem again. I was told it was my blower and resistor, I replaced them to no avail. I started checking on the forms and one post talked about checking for power to the HVAC control module. I have checked power going into the HVAC control module and it does have power.

Another thing I will mention is that when I turn the speed *** to any position and have the AC button on, it does put Freon into the system. If I drive with recirculation on it will force air through the vents at whatever setting I have it on (hot/cold).

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

(This is my first post on the forum, so if I've done something wrong please let me know!)

Welcome!

Check your:

*Ground
*Power
*Communication data lines (if applicable)
These systems are known to have resistor pack and wiring problems.

Also, Check your batter connectors. If oem GM Hummer I would strongly suggest to rethink using them. aka replace them with your choice of quality battery terminals.

Thank you!

I will check them asap and see if I can find out what's wrong.

Already replaced my battery connectors after it left me stranded for a bit will all my friends.

This is not part of your bigger problem; this is simply because of a bad (or lazy) blend door actuator on the fresh/recirc part of the HVAC system, not fully switching over to recirc. Mine does the same thing, but that particular blend motor requires a full dash removal to get to, so I haven't messed with it. You could try re-calibrating (do a search on this site) the controller, but that didn't solve it for me.

Sorry, can't help with the other/bigger problem you are experiencing; only other HVAC issue that I've had was with the resistor, which was solved with the recall/replacement.
