Ok guys need some help. I had a good rain the other day and my BCM went haywire. Took a look with the mech and come to.find out my bcm was wet. Had no wet floor board though. I'm thinking it could be a sunroof drainage issue, but with no wet floorboard I'm not exactly sure. If anyone can give some suggestions that would be great

 

When the sunroof drains are plugged (by lack of maintenance), the water leaks from the sunroof tray, onto the headliner, down the A Pillar and behind the passenger kick plate right where the BCM is mounted. Even a little bit of water in the wrong place can short the BCM.

Do the sunroof drain fix posted here to solve the problem from happening again. You can test if the drains work by pouring a cup of water in the tray and see if it drains out onto the ground at the back of the front fender quickly. If it only drips, or takes a long time to drain onto the ground, you need the fix.
