Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
The right tool for the right job......I thought you were a mechanic??
I know, this is all YOU need to rebuild a transmission.
I actually have a few somewhere? UNUSED! I've got way too many tools in chests/cases/boxes/bags/hummer, not looking for it anytime soon. Just offering advice to the OP!
Yeah I'm not sure why your mechanic refuses to do that, doesn't sound like a shop I'd frequent. Actually had my mechanic do it today free of charge, albeit I did also have some other work done.
If your mechanic won't do something as simple as this I'd take your services to somewhere else that would, I'd trust that shop more.
Seriously? If you have some wire cutters/strippers, sockets/nutdrivers and hex keys it's a very simple job. Fair warning...be prepared to get flamed by HUMMERZ.
B.T.W., I don't think any mechanics will do ANYTHING these days for under $100!
1. Tell you mechanic he is a F'ing idiot and I said so. 2. I would never ever under any circumstances return to his/her business for anything.
I cannot understand why you can't cut off the old and use an Allen wrench to install the new Stingers. Can you change a lightbulb? That is about the difficulty level.
If you cannot do that, call some local stereo/electronics installers.
I second this. If my mechanic told me that I would never let him touch my car ever again because he doesn't know **** lol.
