AC Blower fix
You don't need to remove the glove box.. There are two screws holding the resister (RED CONNECTOR) into the blower housing.. Take the screws out and you will see the problem after you get the connector apart. It might be hard to get it off because it will be melted to the resister plug.. Be careful and just work it back and forth till it comes apart. It is an easy fix but keep in mind that it will happen again. I just replace the termanel end and a short peice of wire using a butt connector. Good luck.
This forum has saved me $1,125 in two weeks! Thanks guys.
1) radiator issue CHECK
2) ignition coils (knock on wood, no)
3) Blower resistor CHECK
Wonder what will happen next week? This H3 may be hitting the wall like me mother-in-law. Confidentially, I would sell her first. Any takers?

Have a 2006 H3 with 90000 miles, A/C just went on the blink today in Las Vegas, 115 degrees today. Pulled resistor and both end wires were fried. Did the bypass solder job, WhaLa A/C works great! Thanks to all who have posted here, saved me hundreds. - Bill
I have to say, I found this thread which has really helped me out. About two weeks ago the A/C went (the flow of air) out on my 2006 H3. I live in the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs, Ca) and this last week we have been in the 110's+. So I am attempting to fix my A/C today. It looks as if the red section is melted inside the white section. Thanks to everyone for the pictures and guidance. (BTW, I called Hummer they seemed to not really care, but said they would feel free to charge me $300+ to fix it.)

My fan went out on my H3 and we are leaving for vacation in a week......our dealer usually finds a way to keep the car for a week and order parts so this thread was a life saver. Fixed it with my solder, but had to spend 23cents for a foot of wire only because I didn't have any of that guage around in about 30 mins......Thanks to all....
Craig: Just found your post on H3 blower problems and I think it is exactly what we need. Our AC quit working except on lowest speed on our trip back home to AZ.
Problem is there are no pix and when I right click and go to show pix, they still don't show. Any chance you could email or text them to me? I can't do anything without photos to show me the way.
My email is fourbyin@yahoo.com
My phone is 520-840-4839 for text
Working with a limited budget so I want to be able to do this myself.
Thanks
