At the risk of people hating my guts for being in an old thread, I was wondering if you still had the images from this post? They are not coming up. I would appreciate any help as I have for the first time had an issue with my blower motor not coming on and I purchased my 2006 H3 new.

Thank you and accept my apologies for bothering anyone.

Buy the updated harness and be done with it. Fixing the resistor is temporary.

Do a google on WHY the images are no longer in this thread. You risk having the understanding on how ridiculous your question is.....

This is WHY we have a rule not to dig up OLD Threads, there is a new fix and all this old chit ain't worth the time of day.

Tainter, I appreciate your reply. I'm making an appointment for the recall which says this is what it repairs:
Repair Description:
Dealers will replace the female connector and harness, free of charge.

Is this the same harness you are referring to? Because of course if they replace it for free, I'd rather not buy it, especially since I just lost my job due to illness.

Thanks for all your help, I appreciate you.

The oem resistor is the weak spot(overheating, causing a short). I replaced with the updated resistor over 6 yrs ago and ONLY replaced the 1 burnt oem connector terminal. Still works today, yet, I keep getting those damn recall notices. They also allow me to file a claim for repairs I have performed on the recall. When I find the time, I will file a claim.

Updated recall harness (recall harness which is the part # I posted) HAS a bigger resistor.
