Default H3 recent recall

Recently I received a recall letter from GM, it states: the connector module that controls the blower motor speed in the heat/vent/air conditioning system may overheat under extended operational periods of at high and medium-high blower speeds.
Has anyone else received this recall notice? And is this the controls in the dash?

Everyone has received this notice and it has been discussed extensively here.

Basically GM knows that there is a problem with the blower wiring connector that is located behind the glove compartment. If you operate the heat or AC on the 2 highest blower settings, for a long period of time, there is a possibility that the wiring connector will overheat and melt causing a short to the resistor module that controls the blower speed.
The fix is that GM will be redesigning this connector and installing it as part of the recall process. That could be months from now. The letter that we all received is just the first step informing us of the issue and that once new parts are available that you will be receiving a letter stating that THEN you should contact your dealer to schedule a time for the repair.

And this has nothing to do with the controls in the dash.
