yes it does, the original owner stated the drain plugs got clogged and the original bcm got damaged. So when they replaced it they said the original key fobs didn't work and neither did the odometer. Then they installed a viper alarm system for the key fob. So I was thinking maybe it was not programed properly?

I think you are onto something know that we know the clogged sunroof drains killed the original BCM.. I have not done it, but others have said you can plug and play a used BCM and it may work if from the same vehicle & year etc.... but if the used Vin had higher miles, the Odo won't change until they match miles.

the odometer is at 84,140 the last car fax reported was 83,000 miles and it's clean car fax. I was told it was a brand new bcm that they installed, and after they did that the factory key fobs and the odometer stopped working.
