It's been a little slow in firing lately, couple of turnovers before it catches. I know about the theft control trick and I've left the key off for 10 minutes or more. Still no fire. Shot some starting fluid down the MAF sensor, nothing.

I did buy the key lock thingy that is supposed to stop the anti theft interference but never installed it. Not sure i can even find it now. It was also extremely cold yesterday. 0 degrees and snowing. Put some Heet in the tank, nothing. Had it out the night before and it was fine.

If anyone has some ideas I'm all ears.

Replace the connectors...Replace the battery...Clean the ground points at the frame and sheet metal throughout the engine bay area.

 

You mean it is turning over but does not start? Is the security light illuminated on the dash?

Yes the engine is turning over fine.

Yes the security light is on.

The part I have, that I haven't installed is about 5 inches long and has a black and white plug at one end. If I knew what it was called maybe I could look up how to replace it.

I purchased a by pass module and it worked I drove it shut it off and now it won’t start again.

 

did the pass lock light come back again? read the instructions maybe it needs a relearn for your bypass module.

 

It appears you need a double bypass.

 

So buy a second one and put that in also?
