Not replacing isn't an option.

It's either replace the stock hood vent or buy a new hood/paint.

ahh you do have the slots. ok thats different. if the new one did not come with the tape then get the 3M trim tape.

make sure the new hood piece and the hood are very clean before applying it. if you can do it on a warm sunny day even better.

Just want to add, even if you do find a new hood they ALL have the 'slits' for the hood louver from the factory. The picture in this thread had some bodywork to fill them.
