Installing hood handles??

Hi All,
When installing the hood handles to you actually drill through the hood and vent or take thevent off and install only to the vent?

Pull the vent off and install only to the vent, the vent just pulls off.

Look under you hood and you can see the pins holding the vents. Easy mod.
