Default H2 Hood Vent Removal?

So I've been googling, and searching this site and can't seem to find any instructions on how to remove the hood vent on an H2, for some reason the only thing I can find are instructions for removing an H3 hood vent. As far as I can tell its just held on with clips, but I don't want to start pulling anything apart unless I'm sure. If anyone has any clue; or if they know of another thread that answers my question that would be a big help.

This is very simple. There are four nuts that hold the hood handles in place from the underside of the hood. Two nuts per handle. Just remove them (I think they are 10mm) and the handles will come off followed by the vent/ tray.

Thanks! Super easy job, my bolts were beyond rusted out, but the overall blackout project is going great, pics soon.

The top (nearest to the windshield) bolts/ nuts on mine were so rusted that they just snapped off. Tried to remove the bolts that were left in the handles and they are fused in there. Ruined one trying to drill it out. Trying to source new/ used handles now.

Took a few weeks for me to find decent handles on fleabay. Was getting ready to pull the trigger when some chrome ones popped in there, jumped all over them.

For some bizarre reason the PO had removed the handles and held the vent piece in place with carriage bolts.

Cleaner look maybe? Either way going to make opening the hood more interesting.
