Replaced driverside rear window regulator. Got it on amazon for $200, half of what the dealer wanted. Easy fix.

Mess with the OEM firewall grommet wires , trying to drill thru cut peel and tangle a few wires , ending in the dealer fro 3 weeks

Well maybe this should be in a WHAT NOT TO DO TO YOUR HUMMER section

ADVISE : DO NOT .. DO NOT .. DO NOT TRY TO RUN A WIRE THRU THE OEM FIREWALL GROMMET ... DRILL A NEW HOLE AND GET AN AFTERMARKET GROMMET

I have a huge bundle of wires going through mine. I just made a tiny cut and shoved a wire clothes hanger through it and pulled all my wires through. Good luck with your rig!

Rig is back home . The mechanic explain the same about the wire hanger
I still have to run the wiring for the lights also for the new roof bar .
Not sure if I have the courage to even look at it

Just make a hook on one end, shove it through the grommet, hook the wires you want to pull through and take the hell out of them. Then get ready to pull like your life depends on it to get the wires through the grommet-depending on how many wires it is. It's an utter PITA but its doable.

Thanks for the advise . I ended taking it to an accessories shop and they did a great job . I couldn't do the same.
I think $250 they Charge me is pretty fair . They installed both lights plus fix all the HID wiring and replaced/ reattached the amp fuse which was broken and loose hanging
I don't know how but the led aren't connected to the headlights/ drl . He said both led lights are independent but only works when key switch is on
I'm able to to turn off the headlights/drl and still got power on the led
I want it connected to the ignition cause with the old lights more than once i walked away and forgot to turn it off so battery dies

Now Im planning to replace cluster lights for led . New leather for the seats
And coming next the airdoc
