I've always used the foaming automotive carpet cleaner that has the plastic brush on top of the can.

Spray the headliner, scrub it with the brush. Let it dry, and hit it with a Shop-Vac. Works really good.

I took it to a shop that has Master Hummer mechanics. M&M Auto repair in Newcastle Delaware. One of the owners worked for GM in the dealerships instructing the mechanics on repair of HUMMERS. He now is retired and has a shop with his brother. Follow this thread.

I really appreciate the feedback. I think I'll start getting my HUMMER serviced at M&M Auto Repair.

How far are you from them? I'll be going back at some point as the Air Ride System in my 09 Lux has been acting up. I already bought new springs and shocks and isolators to do the change over when it craps the bed. The funny thing is the name M&M are brothers both named Mat. They know the Hummer inside and out.

So, Since according to the shop manual your supposed to depressurize the Air ride system with a Tech 2 or a scanner that lets you get into that area, I don't trust my local oil change shop to do the work. It'' be another 1.5 hour drive to ther shop.

When you call them tell them I referred you.Just say Mark the guy with the H 2 windshield leak. His Daughter will answer the phone,. Her name is Courtney.
