Does anyone if the Side Hood Latch Bases are threaded into the side or do they have nuts behind them ? The reason I ask, if they have nust behind, it looks like the wheel wells have to be pulled to get to them. I didn't want to loosen one if they have nuts behind until I have more time to replace...
This is an inside photo of the fender. Looks like two nuts hold the latch base in place. My guess from the photo is that since the nuts are rotated in different positions that they are not welded in place -- so I think you need to remove the wheel well so you can get a wrench on them.
