Default tire pressure for winter snow/ice

hey guys i have a 2003 hummer h2 and i just got new duratracs on my truck 315/70/r17 and here in canada we get tons of snow and ice etc so i was wondering what tire pressure is the best for city driving and for highway driving in this weather for traction etc
i dont do offroading or anything

Ah, winter is here. Check tire pressures outside so the air temp inside the tire is the same as ambient. Keep it at 37psi.

Duratracs are great in the snow, you made a good choice. I run 35 psi.

Stopping Time;
Tires that are underinflated take longer to stop, especially on wet pavement.
Many experts believe that the major cause of SUV rollovers is underinflated tires.
Low tires will skid more readily on both ice and wet pavements, but they also will skid further on dry pavements.
