Interesting...tried the Dorman config and I can’t get unit to enter setup mode by pressing on/front defrost buttons.

Figure it out, or you could close the vents on the drivers side, open window, turn down the heat, open sunroof, etc... My only concern is getting myself and my passengers from point A to point B safe. High temp during cold temps, adjust the fan speed when it gets to hot inside, I may need take clothes off, or open ds window.

That does sound like a blend door actuator issue. First off if you unplugged the control head when doing the stereo you might just need to resync them as well. If I remember right I think you can just pull the HVAC fuse to kill power to the control head. Let it sit for a few minutes, then put the fuse in, turn the key on (do not start) and do not touch any controls for about a minute and you should even hear the actuators moving as they check and reset their limits.

It is pretty common for one of them to fail at some point and maybe it is just coincidence that one of yours decided to fail around the same time. Search on here for blend door, there have been a number of threads that go over them and which one causes specific issues. The hardest one is the recirculation door which is fortunately not the issue you are having.

Sure enough, problem solved, thanks Mix!
