Hey gang, I have a 2007 H2 and just replaced the stereo head unit. After getting everything installed and back together, my heat is on high. Any ideas what I might have jiggled loose??

Disconnect battery terminal, open door, turn on headlights, etc, to release the battery memory effect. Then reconnect your battery terminal and recheck operation.

 

Interesting...so I cut battery negative, switched stuff on and reattached battery negative. Now passenger side is cold, driver hot with setting on lowest temp (60). Is it possible I hosed up the blend actuator for the driver (behind the glove box, I believe)??

 

I don't understand "hosed"? Do your fan settings work?

 

Apologies, yes, fan switch adjusts fan speed as expected, just hot temp on driver side, cold on right.

 

you are unable to switch blendoors?

 

 

I can adjust the temp up and down on the passenger side and passenger vents behave as expected. Regardless of the temp setting on driver side, the output is hot air from the driver vents (and rear).
