Removed key in auxiliary mode
When I shut off my 2003 H2 the ignition switch stopped in the auxiliary mode and the key is removed, the battery light is on, radio, lights, air conditioner everything is still on I have a kill switch on battery to disconnect so it doesn't kill battery. Took in to mechanic they are saying BCM but washed their hands of it since they cannot locate part. They said all diagnosis is leading to BCM being bad. When I do turn on the truck it runs fine, air, radio, lights, the only problem I've seen is the wipers will work and then stop then start again. I still can't figure out how I am able to remove key from switch while it is still in the auxiliary position. If it is the BCM I guess I am in need of a contact to locate one. Any help is greatly appreciated.
worn out key or worn out ignition cylinder lock. they sell a re pin kit ifyou want to save your existing key or you can get a whole new lock set but you would have to change the door lock as well to match the new key set.
