Default Advice Buying H2 Off Facebook/Craig’slist

Hi Team,

Found a SUT on marketplace. I know not to do any deposits. Any advice buying off marketplace? H2 06 Pacific Blue SUT 130K on the clock. Trans replaced a few years ago. Said tras line had rusted out. My concern is getting a bad H2 with issues. Any tips for going into this process? Current owner Said vehicle is paid and has title in hand. Feel like with 20 year old vehicle there would be some small issues that come up. Guess that comes with territory. Any advice gladly appreciate. Thx boys

I got vin, accident showed up on it. Side swipe. Evan leak in system. Red flags and issues I don’t want to deal with. Think i’m going to walk.

Unfortunately , It’s 12 hours away lol. I am in Pittsburgh. Funny enough all the H2 that I have seen are 12+ hours away. Found a few more SUT that I like. Owner is good person as well. I’ll let you know Phil when I pick one up.

So far, I've owned two H2 SUT's. One I got from a used car stealership. The Silver Ice SUT that I own now, I purchase from F.B. Marketplace. A lot of times, a V.I.N. check won't tell you the whole story. The best bet is to meet the owner in person, and bring a competent auto mechanic with you to identify any concerns with the vehicle. This may also help you negotiate a good price the HUMMER. If you do decide to buy a HUMMER SUT off of F.B., Craigslist, or any other sellers' platform, Have some extra cash on the side to fix any problems the vehicle may have. Theres not too many out there in mint condition with low miles. If you do find one with those two conditions, the seller will try to charge you an arm and a leg for it. Since I flip cars as a hobby, I love the hunt of finding a vehicle that's sort of rough around the edges, then fixing her up. Here's a few photos of the Silver Ice SUT I've

purchased off of F.B.

Great truck congrats, thanks for sharing your story. Fix up is best way. Love seeing the transformation. I just bought one off ebay. Super stoked 2006 SUT Pacific Blue couldn’t be happier little rough in some spots. I’ll work my magic and will be brand new. Can’t wait to share photos with you.

I don't think I've seen one PACIFIC BLUE H2 yet. At least not on the east coast anyway.
