So i gather you are haveing starting issues. You have to crank the engine two to three times to start. Can you give some more symptoms/info.
Have you checked for codes. cleared the codes?
Is the engine turning over or clicking?
Will it start fine Hot, Cold, boost?
Check voltage during cranking?
Check barrery terminal connections clean and tight?
Starter connections?
