Overheating while towing fixed
I was having an Overheating while towing (in tow mode)my 4000 pounds boat
Mostly while speeding over 50mph temperature was reaching the 235+
Easy fix . Replace the POS oem radiator for an aluminum one
Last towing trip 400 miles I pushed for a while to the 73mph and not issues
Temp was steady on the 195 all day

Yes direct fit . No mods needed
I have an aftermarket tranny cooler so I didn't connected the lines but the fittings are there
Also gain the drain plug
And the temperature is smoother than ever
Great easy Improvement
Replace the radiator is fairly easy .
A few screws and hose clamps . The cross over which hold the hood must be removed . Make sure to tie the hood this is heavy

Great info!
Why does the hood have to be removed?
Thanks for the picture, I'm looking at a similar radiator with a dual electric fan setup with aluminum shroud. Hoping to get rid of the loud *** power stealing fan we have.
