Towing with the H3

Towing with the H3
Can someone help me understand the towing limitations of the 2007 H3?
The owners manual says something to the effect of the towing capicitybeing limited to 4800 lbs. I just starting shopping for travel trailers. Each trailer lists the dry weight (no fluids, no luggage, etc), and the gross weight GVWR (dry weight plus whatever else you add).
Of course, it would be safe to purchase a trailer with a GVWR under the 4800 lbs. Problem is, there aren't very many out there. Almost all are pop-ups or tent trailers. I would like to get a "real" trailer, albeit small, but even the smallest standard trailers have a GVWR of around 6000 lbs.
Is it safe to assume thatI could tow a trailerwith the dry weightunder 4800,as long as I don't pile in a bunch of stuff? Any warranty issues towing a trailer with a high GVWR rating on it even though it's not loaded up?
Thanks for your input
