Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Front Wiper Control Module.

I have a 2008 H2. Recently the front windshield wiper no longer goes to its neutral position when turned off. If just stops anywhere on the windshield. I have looked at all the stores, even the ones that state that they supply Hummer H2 parts and cannot find the Front Wiper Control Module. Several stores have the Rear Wiper control module for as little as $35.00. But no one seems to supply the Front module. Any idea what internet stores etc can get me that part. My local dealer won't sell the part and charges $540.00 to replace it. I've watched the Youtube showing how to change it and it is very simple. But I cannot replace it if I cannot find it. I have even looked at Junk Car parts dealers around my area with no luck.

Welcome to HF.

Take the title of your thread, add "H2 Hummer" in front of it, type it in google and hit search....... over 800K results less than a second. That was tough.

Try ebay, Amazon, Rock Auto and any of the 100s of GM parts sellers on line.

There module is built in to the wiper motor itself located under the cover below the wipers, the usual problem cause is water ingress corroding the electronics. The seal beteween the motor and its piggy-back module tends to leak.

Fairly sure you can buy modules separately, but if take the trouble of replacing the module why not just replace the complete motor assembly, its not that expensive and may save you work later. I fixed my module then a few months later a bearing failed andended-up replacing the whole motor assembly anyway.

Take a look at
for details on motor changing, it was made by a Brit who rambles on a bit, but it gives you the idea
