Oil Leak located with dye photos. What part is it?
Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Oil Leak located with dye photos. What part is it?
Hi H2 Team, Ran dye in the oil and took these 4 photos under uv light. Appears to be 2 bolts above the oil filter and 4 bolts on the direct opposite side where oil is leaking. Some bolts show more oil than others. Laying on my back with my feet towards the front of the vehicle. Does anyone why know why would be reaching this area on the passenger side? Looks directly to the right of the fly wheel. Any tips on how to stop it? Was going to tighten these bolts to start. Thx 4 tips. Cheers 3 leaking bolts. Top left was the worst. Same photo as above but with fish eye view. 4 bolts in this photo 2 bolts leaking by oil filter Photo after cleaning up dye of the 3 bolts

That’s a pretty common place to find oil if it leaks basically from anywhere it all runs down to that spot.
common issues are valve cover gaskets and the oil pressure sender. Both pretty easy diy fixes. See if you can pinpoint higher up on the engine where the oil starts.
Oil cooler block above the oil filter (drivers side) and pan gasket on the starter side(passenger side) that leaks down the starter bolts are also a possibility for a leak location
