Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Yes sir. Go in equipped with a new gasket for your large marker light. When you lift that lens out, you'll see in Allen headed bolt under the front part of that lens cover. If you pull it out and the threads are a little rusty, you found it. And yeah, water just runs right under there. I assume there's several of those bolts the whole length of the roof rail holding it down. But with the forward rake of the vehicle, all the water runs to the front when parked. (And probably with driving, as I'm sure there's a vacuum effect from the back underside of that large lens)

Well Robert, I think after all these years of hunting and sealing and even a new windshield under warranty you might have solved my problem. I had no clue there was an allen head bolt under there. And for sure the water uses that channel froward to drain thru the plastic outside molding. I have had that molding off years ago and it was clogged with pine needles caked in the shape of that underside molding.

So I bet that's it!!!!! That Fargen Bolt!!! I'll have to wait till it gets warmer and dive into that with a new gasket and some RTV.

Now......We have to start a Thread on the best way to clean the headliner. I have seen videos and you have to be careful not to soak the liner with to much wetness or the adhesive will break down. Hard to find a shop that will do a headliner. Especially a 20 Bazillion foot HUMMER H2! L.O.L.

That's for the tip.

Lol.... That's kind of how I found it, cleaning out all those damn pine needles.

I really had to wonder the logic of the gasket on that large marker light, since water freely flows in the channel under it.

Yeah..in my frenzy of WTF was wrong, I took a piece of small gid screen door mesh amd rtv-ed it to the channel just before the marker lamp above. It stops the pine needles but not the water. Sort of like the operation where it was a success ...but the patient died.
