Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

How many of you still have roof leaks in your H2? No matter what year.
Mine still leaks even after doing all the stuff you're supposed to do. Things from this Board and YouTube and other forums. Sometimes after a rain it will be dry next to the driver side "A" pillar..than another time it will feel damp in the headliner corner.
I was told at one time it's either a bad Pinch weld or, pull the roof rail tracks out. Neither were done. So I hate to to death... But I just got to wondering who still has a leaky H2 because they haven't pulled the roof tracks to check...That's Me.

Sorry if I opened a wound and dragged this old topic out.

A couple months ago I found dampness under the a pillar, and that sponge under the carpeting soaked it up pretty good. Nothing on the headliner showing. Did the marker lights, and door seals. What finally stopped it was under the driver side large marker light, there's a small bolt that secures down the roof rack rail. Pulled it out, used Teflon tape, reinstalled. It's been dry all winter.

Mine is 100% leak free, only because it stays indoors all the time. Wish you the best with your leak free journey.

One spot is where that Rubber round large Gromeant in the lower "A" pillar feeds the wiring thru from the door. When That leaks you'll have water under the HUMMER logo on the door sill on the driver side where all the wiring runs to the rear. Sometimes it will be on the driver side floor. Every now and them I snap that plastic trim plate with the HUMMER logo off and check in there. Got me some grease on those hold down clips so it pops out easy.

I think mine Is coming from the roof rack rail. I'll have to suck it up and do it this summer. I have 4 Roof Rack Bars on the roof in those tracks. They are a PITA to take off to get the Roof Rial up and sealed.

I've done it all as well, still leaks at both sides of the grab handles. The only solution for me is to take out the headliner, which is a PITA, and time consuming and see if I can identify the leaks from inside.

To bad GM never stepped up on this issue for at least a diagnosis from their engineers.

Yep, it's still intriguing to hear that some hummers are still leaking. Mine only leaks on the driver side grab handle headliner. And as yo say.. Pulling the headliner down is a good way to locate the leak. If you can't get from outside.....Try the inside....More work. Only problem is ...it's my daily driver.

And...it's a Major job to pull it down without damaging the parts trim around the liner ....and of course... Yah got's the SIde Airbags that you have to be carefull with.

But I still Love my Leaky 2009 HUMMER H2 LUX... Known as "FATBOY"

I don't have to worry about the side airbags, mines an 07. But not damaging the damn visors is a problem.

My 2003 still does sometimes, found windshield was seeping in, pulled headliner down just in front corner and the antenna was loose (the nut that tightens antenna to roof from inside), got new windshield, tightened antenna bolt put new weathstrip on door now right side is dry, left side headliner getting damp ordered door weatherstrip for that, might have to pull headliner down in that corner to look at antenna on the left (have 2 antennas) hope this helps someone

Didn't know there is a Bolt under that large Marker Lamp Lens. I have the Marker light seal gacked up with RTV. So what you are saying is that if I pull the Marker Lamp housing and gasket up that I will be able to see a bolt to tighten down.

That kind of makes sense as the water channel on the roof runs under that Marker Lamp... Yes/ No?
